List all files containing a specific character:
gci -rec | ? {-not $_.psicontainer -and $_.name.Contains(“&”)}

Count the number of files for a specific character:
(gci -rec | ? {-not $_.psicontainer -and $_.name.Contains(“&”)}).Count

Replace the illegal character:
gci -rec | ? {-not $_.psicontainer -and $_.name.Contains(“&”)} | % {rename-item $_.fullname -newname ($_ -replace “&”,”and”)}

AddressBook store the database in /Users/<Username>/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/. The filename of the database should be smilar to “AddressBook-v22.abcddb”. Simply opening this file with the following command in the Terminal:

sqlite3 AddressBook-v22.abcddb

You will be prompted with:

sqlite>

To show the databases or tables loaded, use,

.tables
